OUR CLINICAL TEAM
Heath McAnally, MD, MSPH
Heath McAnally, MD, MSPH is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician who is committed to helping the people of southcentral Alaska improve their health in every way. He received both a Master’s degree in Public Health, and his M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia. He completed an interventional pain fellowship with the Arizona Pain Specialists. He and his wife Jules arrived in Alaska in 2005 courtesy of the United States Air Force. Dr. McAnally served as an anesthesiologist and pain physician at then-Elmendorf AFB. After leaving the Air Force in 2008, he became part of the Providence Anesthesia Group prior to forming his own practice in 2010. He remains on staff as an anesthesiologist at Alaska Regional Hospital, and is a clinical instructor for the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Scott Schafer, PA-C
Scott Schafer, PA-C brings a wealth of experience in general medicine with particular interest in orthopedic and sports medicine, and served our nation as a solo practitioner on many remote deployments while in the USAF. He received his Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska. He and his wife Missy have three beautiful children.

Jeanne Chapman, RN, BSN
Jeanne Chapman, RN, BSN is our Clinical Services Director, and brings 23 years of nursing experience in a number of arenas including psychiatry, gastroenterology, ambulatory surgery and pain management. She chose a nursing career because of her great love of people, and her desire to see them obtain the care they deserve. She considers a perfect day to include hiking in God’s great creation….or seeing her patient smile because they felt her care for them.

Deanna Nelson, RN
Deanna Nelson, RN, is a foundational member of NAPM, providing clinical nursing, patient education, and procedural sedation with competence and compassion. Her Alaskan nursing career began in Nome in 1985, following previous experience Outside in Coronary Care Units in Galveston, Texas and Duluth, Minnesota. She is married to Will and they have three wonderful grown children. Outside of NAPM, her family, and her faith community, her interests include reading, travel, and gardening.

Donna Nall
Donna Nall, Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Holy Yoga Instructor, is our Resume Course Instructor and Medical Assistant. Donna’s 21 years as an Army spouse fed her desire to learn and experience how people overcome and survive all that life throws at us. The Army brought Donna, her husband and two children to Alaska, where hunting, fishing, and camping convinced them to retire from the military lifestyle.
Donna has a passion to share knowledge and resources that encourage self-care and all-around wellness. With a strong Biblical foundation, her approach is to not add more to our plate but rather to be more effective in the way we do life.

Daniel Remillard
Daniel Remillard is a recent graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences with a music minor in string performance. He is currently at the interview stage of applying to medical school and hopes to attend in the fall of 2017. Daniel has traveled extensively in Europe and spent two months in 2015 in Togo, West Africa at a rural hospital serving as a scribe, Surgical Assistant, and Information Technology manager. As a lifelong native of Alaska, he accordingly loves hiking, camping, and backcountry skiing.
